Rap legend Snoop Dogg is mourning the loss of his dog, Juelz. He received Juelz as a birthday gift from fellow rapper Wiz Khalifa a few years ago. Now, he has shared with his fans that his beloved pet has passed away.
Rapper Snoop Dogg mourns the loss of his French bulldog, Juelz. The dog was a gift from his fellow rapper Wiz Khalifa, with whom he released the hit “Young, Wild and Free,” for his 43rd birthday in 2014. Now, nearly eleven years later, the gray Frenchie has passed away. The “The Next Episode” rapper announced the sad news on Instagram.
“I Miss My Dog”
In a series of posts, the 53-year-old expressed his deep sorrow over the loss of his pet. He wrote, among other things, “RIP @juelzbroadus 😢.” He continued, “Thank you, Wiz, for giving him to me.🌹 🕊️” He also posted a video showing the dog next to him in the car.
In another video, where Snoop shares several pictures from Juelz’s life, the Frenchie is seen with Snoop Dogg, some friends and family members, and a group of scantily clad dancers. He added the sentence “I miss my dog @juelzbroadus,” who, by the way, was a small internet sensation with his own Instagram page and over 52,000 followers. Here, the rapper documented his pet’s adventures in clips and snapshots.

“I Wish Dogs Could Live Forever”
Fittingly, the grieving dog owner posted the emotional song “See You Again” by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth, which also became a musical symbol for the late “Fast & Furious” actor Paul Walker.
In the comments under the mourning posts, several fans expressed their condolences to Snoop Dogg for his loss. “I wish dogs could live forever,” one user wrote.
Another added, “Ten years for a Frenchie is amazing, I bet he had the best life. 🙌🏼.” Another user wrote, “Losing a dog is worse than losing a person… I said it.” The exact cause of Juelz’s death has not been disclosed. However, the dog reached an impressive age of about ten years for a French bulldog, which is at the upper end of the average life expectancy for this breed.
